Final Reflection

As the semester comes to an end there is a lot of things I find myself reflecting on. This class was one of the bigger pains because honestly there was so much more work I had to do than I thought I would need to at the beginning. However, now that I have reached the end I am glad that it was more work than I thought because it pushed me to do a lot of things I wouldn't have otherwise, like interviews with strangers. I learned about budgeting and raising capital for a business. I learned that Entrepreneurship isn't something you do it's something you become and something you can definitely learn just by changing how you think. Realistically I am just glad to have been able to change how I think about certain things because sometimes we as people mentally reserve things for people we think are "more qualified." Sometimes that's not even the case. I learned that I can push myself to do much more and overall I am no longer that scared of what it means to be an entrepreneur and start a business.

  1. Eddy,
Thanks so much for sharing! Your final reflection envelops a lot of feelings I also had about this course. It seemed like a ton of work at first but then that work turned out to be so interesting. Many of the assignments definitely forced me outside my comfort zone but I think that is how I truly learned in this course. The experiences and different opportunities that I got to have through this course this past semester have definitely given me new life skills. Thanks again for sharing! 2. Hi there Eddy!

Thank you so much for sharing your final reflection with me, I really enjoyed reading your post. I completely agree with you. I thought this class wasn't going to entail a lot of work, which clearly it did, and it was hard at first keeping up with all the assignments required, especially the one that included video recordings. I agree with what you said about entrepreneurship being something you can learn and grow into, because before this class I thought it was just something that either happened by chance or you were born with that kind of knack. Overall, great post! Here is the link to my blog post in case you want to check it out: http://lbritthoff.blogspot.com/2016/04/final-reflection.html

  3. Eddy,

I'm really glad you opened up to us and shared this beautiful reflection. In all seriousness, I agree with a lot of the points you brought up! The mindset isn't just what you do, you have to truly buy into the entrepreneurial spirit and "become it" like you mentioned. This class was a big pain sometimes, wasn't it.. Anyway Im just glad I got to think critically and come up with a pretty cool possible product, Jukebaux audio organizer!
