On my last pitch the biggest piece of commentary that really resonated with me was the fact that people were not sure if students would pay for the service and that I would be entering a very saturated market. I used this video to kind of describe the shuttle and the pricing of the actual ride more than actually sell it because of the feedback I had received thus far.
What I changed:
1. Pricing of the actual service
2. Maine routes to begin
3. style and build of "shuttle"

ReplyDeleteI really like the name of your idea! It is really catchy! I agree that although Uber is cheap and affordable every once in a while, if you continue to use it, the bill really adds up overtime making it much less of a sustainable or cost-effective way to get around. I think that this is a really great idea and there are tons of students who need this service, including myself. Having a flat rate is a great idea, and so is making it more affordable for students! I don't really like the snap vans at all, because like you said, they are not easy to get in or out of. I think arranging the seats in that fashion would definitely make it easier to get in and out, but it would very much limit the number of people you could have on board. What if you used a small bus, the size of a short school bus instead? Just a thought! Great idea and good luck!

ReplyDeleteI really like your idea. I haven't really used Uber but I do know they have times where the rides will be crazy expensive. I like how you would offer a flat fee. I have used SNAP a lot, and yea they are hard to get in and out of. They also take forever to get to your location and to drop you off at your destination.
